| CoCo's story: CoCo was an outdoor cat and survived getting hit
when he was 9 months old, not a big thing but his condition was: Fractured
skull, broken jaw, 3 broken ribs, broken leg in 2 places, broken hip AND
his left eye was laying out of it's socket! He managed to crawl over 200
feet to our house in this condition so we would find him!! We took him to
our local animal hospital and the doctor said he probably would not make
it through the night. We knew in our hearts that he would because of his
determination and strength to crawl that far in THAT condition to be
found. So the doctor started pumping in meds and fluids and for us to call
him the next day to see if he would make it.
The next day we called and to the doctors amazement,
he was actually doing a little better so the doctor said he would do what
he could. They put a pin in his leg and patched him up the best they could
and sent him home with us. We had to bottle feed him and show as much love
as possible during his recovery at home.
About two weeks later we took CoCo back for a check
over and the doctor said CoCo ONLY survived because of the love we had for
him.... He said this has got to be the strongest willed cat he had ever
seen and didn't charge us a dime for his services!
He is now 20 YRS OLD!! AWESOME cat!!
